Onekind Solardrops SPF 55 Daily Broad Spectrum Serum (SRP $48) is described as a universally flattering, lightweight SPF 55 serum that protects, brightens, and hydrates while leaving you radiant.
For the price, I expect the formula and efficacy to be luxurious enough to justify the price.

Packaging
Onekind Solardrops are packaged in a small, 1 fl oz squeeze tube that dispenses product from the bottom. The packaging is practical considering it is a serum, and the goal is to dispense generously. I have no complaints about the packaging, except for the fact that it has a very small amount of SPF.
Ingredients
The ingredient list is very thoughtful and well-crafted, with a mixture of ingredients that benefit the skin and aromatics. Notable ingredients include Sea Buckthorn extract (fatty acid-rich moisturizer), Patchouli oil (antifungal), and Prickly Pear Cactus extract (improves elasticity). It also includes lavender oil and sweet marjoram oil for aromatics. It also includes non-nano zinc oxide, which puts the mineral in this mineral SPF. This is also important to note because non-nano is infamous for leaving a white cast and being difficult to apply.
Application
For reference, I am medium-deep skin-toned. The product dispenses a nude shade, but once you start rubbing it into your skin, it turns very white. After it began to warm up, it started to adjust to my skin tone. The product near my hairline and in creases remained white. I noticed a slight white cast. For my skin tone, it’s not a big deal. For someone with a deeper skin tone, it may be more problematic. Solardrops dispense like a serum but have a thick texture. It transforms into a balm-like texture as you rub it in. It does have a scent thanks to the sweet marjoram and lavender that lingers 15 minutes after application. It is not offensive and very calming.
Personally, I did not experience any irritation or redness, nor did it exacerbate my acne (I get like 4 bumps a month).
Let’s get into the sunkissed claims. I was very glowy for about an hour. Mind you, I spend a significant amount of time outdoors during a typical workweek. Once the glow dissipated, I looked moisturized.
Would I buy it?
I would not buy this SPF serum. I’m dreaming of an SPF in serum form that leaves no white cast. I’m also not a fan of the sizing. $48 or 1 fl. oz. of product, I expect a product that is PA++++, and I expect more skin-beneficial ingredients.
